Safety and Fire Measures.
• Vigile y controle su equipaje. No lo deje desatendido en ningún momento. Extreme su vigilancia en el momento de efectuar el pago.
• Cierre la puerta de su habitación al salir de ella y trate de abrirla de nuevo para asegurarse que está correctamente cerrada, aún cuando solo sea por un corto espacio de tiempo. Mantenga la puerta cerrada cuando esté en la habitación.
• Cierre su equipaje cuando no lo utilice y colóquelo en el armario. Si el equipaje tiene cerradura, úsela siempre.
Notifique inmediatamente en recepción cualquier hecho anormal tal como personas con actitud sospechosa por el pasillo, repetidas llamadas telefónicas de personas que no se identifican, llamadas a la puerta de la habitación de desconocidos para usted o no encontrar a nadie en la puerta cuando acude a abrirla.
• Nunca exhiba joyas, dinero u objetos de valor en la habitación.
• Nunca invite a extraños a su habitación ni les diga el número de esta.
• Nunca permita la entrada a personas a su habitación con entregas que no hayan sido solicitadas.
• Cuando establezca relaciones sociales con personas desconocidas no revele el nombre del hotel ni el número de habitación.
• Nunca discuta planes específicos de futuras excursiones, salidas, etc., en público con extraños. Para mayor seguridad, rogamos no deje ningún objeto personal como bolsos, maletines, etc., fuera del alcance de su vista en zonas comunes del hotel (hall, cafetería, buffet de desayunos, etc.)
• Keep an eye on your luggage at all times. Never leave it on its own. Be especially careful when being in overcrowded places.
• The hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage to any valuables which are not left under custody.
• Always make sure the door of the room is locked before leaving. Check the door at least twice to make sure whether it’s properly closed.
• Lock the door when staying in.
• Lock up your luggage when not using it. If you have a safety lock for it, always use it.
• Anytime you figure out there’s either something or someone suspicious, let us know as soon as possible to solve it out.
• Never leave jewelry, money or valuable items at sight in your room.
• Never invite unknown people into your room.
• Never allow people into your room with unsolicited deliveries.
• Do not give away the name or your hotel room number to unknown people.
Never discuss your plans for outings, excursions, etc. in a public area.
• Do not leave any personal belongings unattended (handbags, briefcases, etc.) in the hotel public areas (lobby, bar, buffet, etc…) in order to avoid the chance of them being stolen.
Localice en el plano de planta la salida de emergencia más próxima.
Es conveniente que cuando ocupe la habitación observe, tanto en el plano de la habitación como en el pasillo, dónde están situadas las salidas y alarmas de incendios.
Si ocurre en la habitación, notifíquelo inmediatamente a recepción. Después, si está seguro, puede intentar apagarlo usted mismo. A la menor duda, salga de la habitación cerrando la puerta para evitar que el humo y el fuego pasen al pasillo.
Si el fuego se produce en otras dependencias del hotel, procure guardar la calma y haga lo siguiente:
• Coja la tarjeta-llave de la habitación
• Si al salir hay humo en el pasillo, agáchese y gateando intente llegar hasta la salida de incendios.
• Si hay llamas entre usted y la salida de incendios, primero compruebe si hay otra salida. Si no hay, regrese a la habitación y cierre la puerta para no dejar entrar humo ni llamas. Coloque una toalla mojada en la rendija de la puerta.
• Abra la venta al máximo para airear la habitación y dé señales al exterior colgando una sábana de la misma. NO TRATE DE DESLIZARSE POR ELLA.
• Llene la bañera de agua, puede necesitarla en algún momento y tenga siempre a mano toallas mojadas.
Es importante recordar que en la mayoría de los incendios las personas se ven afectadas debido a la intoxicación de humos y gases.
Por eso es importante que guarde la calma en la medida de lo posible y no olvide seguir estas recomendaciones.
Locate the nearest emergency exit on the floor planning.
Before getting into your room, figure out where the nearest emergency exit and the fire alarms are. In any case, they are shown up on your room planning and on the one displayed on the corridor.
If the fire breaks out in your room, let the receptionists know right away. Only try to put out the fire on your own when being safe to do so. In case of hesitation, leave your room inmediately and close the door to avoid smoke or fire spreading into the corridor.
If the fire happens in any other part of the hotel, keep calm and follow these instructions:
• Keep your room key with you.
• If there is smoke in the corridor, crouch down on the floor and make your way to the nearest fire exit on all fours.
• If there are flames between you and the nearest emergency exit, first check if there is another exit, if not, go back to your room and close the door to avoid smoke or flames getting in. Place a wet towel over the gap at the bottom of the door.
• Open up the window to get some fresh air into the room and hang a sheet out of the window to let rescuers figure out your location . DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE A SHEET TO CLIMB DOWN.
• Fill the bathtub with water . Keep a supply of wet towels to hand.
• Remember, most injuries related to fires are caused by inhaling toxic smoke or gases. Keep calm and follow this guidelines, they may save your life.
